I have the Datejust 41 Blue dial 126300 with Jubilee. It was purchased from a Rolex dealer who advised that the Blue Dial is the most sought after and would make the best . It was purchased from a Rolex dealer who advised that the Blue Dial is the most sought after and would make the best investment choice for avoiding high depreciation etc. As for the datejust I think much the same way as you do. It’s just a watch; strip away the hype and you have a competent design with some advantages and some disadvantages.
